Susan "Sue" Joan Turinske

Susan “Sue” Joan Turinske (nee Josephson), age 68, passed away at AngelsGrace Hospice on October 8, 2026. Sue was born on December 17, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Marvin and Betty Josephson (nee Garber).

Sue enjoyed hula-hooping, bowling, cleaning, and spending time with her family who were her pride and joy in life. Sue was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, devoted Girl Scout Leader of Troop 174. Sue worked for Kettle-Moraine school district in many different capacities. Sue also provided loving daycare for many children throughout the years. Sue enjoyed her “fur-babies” over the years, Rex, Rocky, and Batman.

Sue was united in marriage to the love of her life, Dennis Turinske on September 7, 1979, who proceeded her in death on October 15, 2025.

Sue is survived by her daughter Mindy Turinske, of Oshkosh, WI and son Matt Turinske, of Menominee, MI. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Felicia, Xander, and Taylor, and brother William “Billy” Josephson. Along with many other loving family and friends.

Along with her husband, Sue is preceded in death by her parents, sister Jill, and brother Sam.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at AngelsGrace Hospice, Aurora Hospital for their compassionate care. Special thanks to Sue’s special friends who gave her extra care during her final years, Megan Strangler, Holly Melloch, Dawn Degner.

In keeping with Sue’s wishes there will be no formal services. Sue would wish her loved ones to remember her and celebrate her life in a way that reflects her joy, love, and laughter.
