Shane Robert Kestelik

Shane R. Kestelik, 54, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2026. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on January 31, 1972, and was adopted by his parents, Robert (Bob) and Florence (Goldie) Kestelik of West Allis, Wisconsin.

Shane is survived by his wife of 18 years, Deanna; his children, Kyla and Kenley; and his brother, Tom Kestelik (Maggie).

He is also survived by his in-laws, Delores Scharmer and Duane Dummer; his brother-in-law, Craig Scharmer (Monica); his niece, Allison Scharmer; his nephew, Jacob Scharmer; his cousin, Marianne Haut; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Florence Kestelik.

Shane had a deep love of music, which was reflected in his mancave. He also enjoyed gaming, especially with his daughters, and nothing made him happier than hearing their laughter and playful competition.

Shane’s wife would like to extend her heartfelt appreciation to the Village of Summit police officers who responded for their compassion and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to support the care and education of Kyla and Kenley would be greatly appreciated.
