Rosemary Louise Blaha

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Rosemary Louise Blaha announce her passing on August 24, 2026, at the age of 95.

Rosemay was born May 25, 1931, in Okauchee to Lloyd and Myrtle (Jaeckle) Bloor and remained a lifelong resident of the Okauchee area. Rosemary attended Okauchee Grade School and graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1949.

She worked at Okauchee Grade School for 37 years seeing multiple generations of Okauchee families pass through the school’s halls. She retired from the Oconomowoc School System in 1994 and was visited by Okauchee families up to her death.

September 10, 1949, she married Robert J. Blaha of Algoma, Wisconsin, a World War II veteran, and was happily married until Bob’s passing January 25, 2008.

She was an active member of the Okauchee American Legion Auxiliary and helped with the bookkeeping at the Okauchee Volunteer Fire Department. She knit hats for the newborn babies at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, mittens for the needy and prayer shawls for AngelsGrace.

Rosemary is survived by her sister, Beverly Callies, brother Richard (Carol) Bloor, three sons Jim (Lucie), Mike (Sandi) and Dan (Sonja), five grandchildren, Josh (Karen) Blaha, Chad (Michele) Blaha, Kelly (Jason) Berens, Dustin Blaha and Cheyenne Blaha. Rosemary was blessed with six great grandchildren Jackson (Kayla) Berens, Natalie Berens, Brooke Blaha, Amber Blaha Carly Blaha and Maile Blaha.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Rosemary on September 19, 2026, from 12:00 To 3:00 pm at Stone Bank Community Park, W335N7065 Stone Bank Road Oconomowoc Wi. 53066
