Robert Maule, age 74 of Dousman, passed away on August 27, 2014. Bob was born to John and Frances Maule on August 30, 1939. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Dorothy (nee Yench), sons Michael (Holly) and Timothy Maule along with his beloved granddaughters Kayla and Colleen. He is further survived by his brothers David (Marcia), Tom (Claudia), Bill (Kathy) and his sister-in-law Mary along with nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gerald and sister Sally. Bob was a district manager of North West Telephone Company (now Century Link) until his retirement in 1991. Since his retirement, he drove school bus for Dousman Transport until his current illness. Bob was a member of Highview Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Dousman Ottawa Lion's Club and the Dousman Volunteer Fire Department where he was the assistant Chief for several years and then was elected Fire Chief in 1985 until his resignation in 1994. He also started the EMS service for the Dousman Volunteer Fire District and became the first EMT of the Dousman Volunteer Fire Department. A funeral service for Bob will be held on Monday, September 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM. A visitation for family and friends will start at 11:00 AM until time of service all to take place at Highview Evangelical Presbyterian Church (S50 W33042 Town Rd GE, Dousman WI 53118) with a burial to follow at Ottawa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to his church, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Cancer Center or to AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. Bob will be truly missed by his family, his friends and by all the lives he has helped and touched throughout the community.
