Robert Thomas Guss

Robert Thomas Guss, age 91, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026. Robert was born on July 21, 1934, in Milwaukee, WI, to Leo and Anna Guss (nee Pruszka). Robert was a US Army veteran, UW Whitewater graduate and Health Inspector for the State of Wisconsin.

Robert is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Adele; his children Bobby and Kathy Guss; and grandchildren Ashley, Leo and Gus.

Robert loved spending time with his family and friends on the waters of Okauchee Lake and eating his favorite home-cooked meals.

In his leisure time, Robert enjoyed sitting by the lake, riding on his mower, and being an all around handy-man.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Touching Hearts, particularly Sharon, for the compassionate care and support extended to Robert and his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church (W359 N8512, W359N8512 Brown St, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest at the church cemetery.
