Richard Dean Day

Richard Dean Day, age 73, passed away in South Padre, TX on January 20, 2025. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 28, 1951 to Edward and Alice (nee Hildebrand) Day. Richard now joins his beloved wife, Sharon, in eternal peace.

Richard was known for his infectious sense of humor that could light up any room. He took joy in sharing his passions, particularly his love for traveling, hogs, and hot rods.

Richard is survived by his brother, Edward (Heidi) Day; daughter, Stephanie (David) Barker; granddaughters, Jaci (Vince) Dempsey and Kassie (Michael) Bonow; great-granddaughters, Savanna, River and Willow Bonow; along with many other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association in Richard’s name are welcome.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a service that will celebrate the life Richard lived and the memories he created. Following the service, Richard will be laid to rest alongside Sharon at Summit Cemetery.
