Phyllis Anne Stiemke (nee Dodge), age 86, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 29, 2026. Born on April 21, 1940, in Des Moines, Iowa to Kenneth and Helen Dodge. She moved to Lincoln, Nebraska during her grade school years. There, she met the love of her life, Kenneth Stiemke, during her high school years while he was in the U.S. Air Force. They married in 1959 and moved to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. There they started raising their family for the next 50 years. Afterwards, they moved to their dream home on the Rock River.
She was beloved by her fifteen children, Michael (Jody), Mark (Bev), Matthew, Maria (Daryl) Melcher, Martin, Melissa (Michael J.) Jansen, Moses (Beth), Mario (Jean), Monica (Jeff) Sueflohn, Mitchell, Melody (Andy) Martin, Mahalo Bandomir, Maximillian, Margaret (Kodie) Keller, Megan (John) Cocking.
She was adored by her 46 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. She lived her life lovingly dedicated to her husband Ken, her family, and her catholic faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary and Elizabeth, and brother Tommy. She will be missed by her niece Lisa and nephew Billy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday May 9, 2026, at St. Mary Help of Christians, W856 Highway 18, Sullivan, Wisconsin. Visitation from 10-11:30 a.m. Rosary at 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Internment at St. Mary after the Mass. Luncheon to follow in the parish hall.
