It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis Elaine Glandt, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Phyllis was born on January 5, 1943, in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and she left this world peacefully on May 5, 2025, at the age of 82, surrounded by love and warmth.
Phyllis spent her life as a dedicated homemaker, pouring her heart into her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Alan) Petelinsek and Shannon Bates, who will carry on her legacy of love and resilience. Phyllis was proud of her grandchildren: Cailey (Ian) Jamison, Ethan Petelinsek, Samuel Petelinsek, Sarah (William) Atwill Petelinsek, "The La-la sisters" Selah Bates, and Lola Bates. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
Phyllis was also a devoted sister, leaving behind her siblings: Doraine (Jeff) Hargreaves, Daniel (Marion) Hermanson, Rita (Mark) Mueller, Sheila (Randy) Heimerman, Guy (Joanne) Hermanson, and Connie (John) Herbst.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Hermanson and Violet Hermanson, son, Chad Miller, siblings: Janie Hermanson, Debra Anderson, Steven Hermanson, Bonita Hermanson, Donald Hermanson and Judith Hermanson.
In honor of Phyllis’s life, there will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends with a visitation held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home on May 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM. We want to celebrate her life in the way she would have loved: surrounded by laughter, stories, and, of course, family.
Rather than a traditional burial, Phyllis will be cremated, with her ashes to be placed at a special location that we hope will resonate with all who knew and loved her. We invite everyone whose lives she touched to join us as we remember and celebrate wonderful Phyllis.
Rest in peace, dear Phyllis. You will be forever missed but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis's honor are appreciated to Lutheran Home or Accent hospice.
