Pauline Marie Warzyn

Kind, generous, and always smiling.

We are sorry to announce the passing of Pauline: wife, mother, sister, cousin, friend, nurse, and business owner. Pauline Marie (nee Weyers) Warzyn, age 92 was a long time Oconomowoc resident.

Pauline was a graceful model of proper perspective on life and sound advice giver when requested. She loved people and trusted in the goodness of them. She was guided by a strong moral compass, good taste and common sense.

She passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026.

Pauline was the oldest of three siblings and lived most of her life in Wisconsin. She enjoyed her childhood years in Phillips, her early married life in South Milwaukee, then many years in Oconomowoc until retirement when she moved to Port Richey, Florida, then Phoenix, Arizona and finally back once again to Oconomowoc.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, sister Joan, parents Leo and Mamie (nee Vlach) Weyers, and grandson Marley Pratt.

Pauline was born June 7, 1934, in Ladysmith WI. She graduated St. Mary’s Nursing College in1954 as a registered nurse and later attained a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Pauline and Richard G. Warzyn were married in 1955. Pauline and Dick were happily married 49 years until his passing in 2005.

Pauline was a registered nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee in her early career. She also worked as a nurse at the Wales School for Boys for many years, then owned and operated the Larry Hammond Company with Richard.

She is survived by her brother Daniel Weyers (Gerry) and her children Steven Warzyn, Cindy Warzyn (Andrew Pratt), Douglas Warzyn (Yiu Tong “Tony” Wong), Mary Dee Warzyn, Ann Olson (Steve Olson). Grandchildren Vanessa Blount (Ron Lundblade), Laura Blount, Catie Baldwin (Bart Baldwin), Luke Olson, Lilly Olson and great-grandchildren Lennen and Logan Baldwin and Xansa Lundblade; and her dear cousins of the Tennessen, Maris, Warzyn, and Weyers families, as well as many other nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at The View at Pine Ridge for their attentiveness, care, and the compassion they showed her for the last 4+ years.

Pauline was an accomplished quilt maker, beekeeper, and gardener. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee, a home cooked meal, a fine margarita or glass of red wine, and her family, friends and neighbors. She always had a smile and a willingness to help others. She gave more than she received. She was a bright light and will be missed by all who knew her. Thanks for showing us the way, Mom!

A mass of Christian burial and Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
