Melvin J. Miles

Melvin J. Miles 'Mel', age 91 of Johnson Creek, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Mel is survived by his loving wife Lee of 68 years, children Tim (Cindy), Phil (Sue), Don (Ellen) and John (Leslie). Grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Mel is also survived by many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Rick, brother Jim Miles and sister Evelyn Rhyer. Mel enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, camping, card parties and spending time with family and friends. A time of remembrance for Mel will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 Summit Avenue in Oconomowoc on Thursday, August 20,2015 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM. Private family burial will be held at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Special thank you to the Rainbow Hospice staff for the wonderful, caring and compassionate help they provided to Mel and his family.
