Mary Ann Jagow

Mary Ann Jagow passed away peacefully on July 7th, 2025, at the age of 85, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on June 29th, 1940, in Horicon, Wisconsin. Mary Ann built a life rooted in her love for her family. She spent most of her life residing in Hartford WI and she spent her retirement years in Cherokee Village, AR and Dousman, WI.

For 63 years, Mary Ann was devotedly married to her late husband, Stanley Jagow. Together, they built a family, raising four children: Jeff, Jeni (John), Stan II (Lisa), and Stacy (Dave). Their greatest joy was watching their family grow, with 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren adding even more love and laughter to their lives.

Mary Ann’s quiet strength and generosity were felt by everyone she met through her rare gift of making others feel truly seen, valued, and loved. She always had a way of making you feel her warmth, often in the smallest gestures, letting you know “I’m here for you”. Her home was always open to friends and family, often filled with the delicious smell of a home-cooked meal. Whether she was playing cards, taking impromptu mystery trips, or enjoying peaceful moments on the water, Mary Ann’s greatest joy came from being surrounded by the people she loved.

Though she’s no longer with us in the way we wish, her spirit will remain woven into the rhythms of our lives – in the smell of a home-cooked meal, the sound of laughter over a card game, the gentle squeeze of a hand. She may be gone from our sight, but her love lives quietly on — in all of us.

A Celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to: Three Pillars Residence Fund.
