Marlene P. Edinger

On Sunday, May 15, 2022, heaven received the best angel, Marlene P. Edinger, age 90. She was born on July 10, 1931 to Herman and Isabella (Hardner) Weil in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Marlene is survived by her husband, Walter; her sons, Michael S. Edinger and Steven R. (Jennifer) Edinger; her grandchildren, Mackenzie and Zachary; and her nieces and nephews, Nip Brinker, Bret Brinker, Dodie Brinker, Pattie Smith, Tom Edinger and Ann Edinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Joyce. Marlene volunteered at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Delafield, WI, as well as with her churches in northern Idaho and Maryland. She also volunteered at Hawks Inn in Delafield, WI, and with the Art Museum in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She was a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 60 plus years. Marlene loved to play bridge, and enjoyed art and shopping. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 N. Genesee Street in Delafield, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials in Marlene’s name may be given to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
