Marilyn Annette Runyard

Marilyn Annette (Mallow) Runyard, age 91 of Oconomowoc passed away at 7:45 AM, Monday September 28th at Three Pillars. She was born August 6,1935 in Oconomowoc to William and Elizabeth Mallow.

Marilyn was a life-long resident of Oconomowoc where she lived and graduated from Oconomowoc High School. She married Kenneth John Runyard on October 27th, 1954 and he has been by her side for almost 72 years of marriage.

Marilyn and Kenneth spent their early married life in Hawaii while Ken was stationed there in the Army during the Korean War. After their return Marilyn worked as a bookkeeper and receptionist at Kinn Motors Marine. She later was a real estate agent with Shorewest Realtors until her retirement.

She loved to cook desserts for the grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite destination for a vacation with Ken was anywhere in Hawaii.

Also, surviving are her two children, Katherine (Jeff) Isham, of Denver and Alan (Susan) Runyard, of Oconomowoc.

Marilyn’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Michael (Kelly) Isham, David (Sarah) Isham, Daniel Isham in Denver, Dustin (Mallorie) Runyard in Watertown and Dexter Runyard in Oconomowoc.

Great Grandchildren, Emma, MacKenna, Alice and John Runyard in Oconomowoc, and Wade, Isabelle, Wyatt, Isla Runyard of Watertown and Audrey, Max Isham in Denver.

Marilyn’s sister, Iris Mallow Jahnke and bother Ervin Mallow preceded her in death.

The visitation will be held on December 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. All services will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N Silver Maple Ln, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). Marilyn was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the burial will be held at the LaBelle Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul’s Lutheran at Church 210 E Pleasant Street, Oconomowoc, WI. 53066.
