Marian Louise Kluewer

Marian Louise Kluewer, beloved sister, and cherished friend, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born on July 9, 1941, in Hustisford, Wisconsin, to Elmer and Adeline (Margelowsky) Kluewer.

After attending Badger School in the town of Ashippun through 8th grade, Marian graduated from Oconomowoc High School, class of 1959. Following graduation, Marian was employed as a bookkeeper, dedicating many years to Ashippun Lumber and Fuel Company. Known for her sharp-minded and meticulous work ethic, she took pride in every account she managed and made lasting connections.

Marian was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she spent 40 years as a Sunday School teacher, nurturing the faith of countless children and fostering a sense of community within her congregation. For many years Marian enjoyed working in the fishpond at the Ashippun firefighters’ annual picnic. She also enjoyed spoiling her cat Scooter.

Marian is survived by her sisters—Jeanette White of Waukesha, RuthAnn (Mike) Peirick of Ashippun, Linda (Allen) Jacobs of Maryville, TN, Diane (Mark) Beavers of Hampton, VA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Marian was preceded in death by her Parents Elmer and Adeline Kluewer, and her brothers Gordon and Charles Kluewer.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Shorehaven Lutheran Homes, Aurora Summit Hospital, and Agrace Hospice for the care they provided for Marian.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church, Shorehaven Lutheran Homes, Ashippun Fire Department, and Agrace Hospice.

Visitation and funeral will be held at Zion Lutheran Church (N557 Main St, Ashippun, WI53003) on Monday, September 15, 2025. Visitation: 9–11am; service: 11am. A light lunch will be served following the service.
