Maria Soledad Ortiz

Maria Ortiz, of Oconomowoc, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and the memories she created throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Maria was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and strength touched countless lives. She is survived by her beloved children: Marie Janice Ortiz, Juan Joel Ortiz, David Jesus Ortiz, and Daniel Evan Ortiz. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth Marie Ortiz, Zaraya Oonah Ortiz, Amelia Evyn Ortiz, and Callie Beckham Ortiz, who brought her endless pride and joy.

She is further survived by a multitude of siblings, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the love, laughter, and memories they shared with her.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, whom she carried in her heart throughout her life.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Maria loved cooking meals for those she loved, dancing whenever music filled the room, and enjoying her favorite television shows and movies. She especially enjoyed watching horror movies, Caso Cerrado, and Judge Judy, which often brought both excitement and laughter to her days.

Maria’s love for her family was unwavering, and her presence brought comfort, humor, and strength to those around her. Her memory will live on in the stories shared around family tables, in the traditions she passed down, and in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always.
