Margaret Spreng

Margaret J. Spreng 'Peg', age 88 of Oconomowoc, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 with her family by her side. Peg is survived by her children Craig (Jan) Spreng, Dale (Joanne) Spreng, and Chrysan (Chris) Greiner, grandchildren Kyle and Ryan Spreng, and great-grandchild Weston Spreng. Peg is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert 'Bob' Spreng. Margaret earned a degree in music and was a member of the American Guild of Organists. She sang with the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus and the Milwaukee Choristers, and played organ at various churches. One of her proudest moments was singing at Carnegie Hall. Peg enjoyed hiking, biking, skiing and travel. Peg's loving and pleasant manner will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of Peg's life will be held in the Lake Country Landing Media Room on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 with visitation at 6:00 PM followed by service at 6:30 PM. Lake Country Landing is at 2255 N. Stonehedge Trail in Oconomowoc, just south of Aurora Medical Center at I-94 and Hwy. 67.
