Kristin Leigh Haag

Kristin Leigh Haag, age 43, passed away on August 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Kristin was born in River Falls, WI, on March 16, 1983, to Jim and Sue (Voss) Bliefernicht.

Kristin was a graduate of Waupun High School and attended UW La Crosse, where she earned degrees in Art and Environment Studies.

On February 3, 2016, she married Parker Haag in Las Vegas, NV. Her greatest joy was her children and the moments spent with her family and friends creating memories.

Kristin is survived by her husband Parker; her sons Quinn and Oliver; parents Jim and Sue Bliefernicht; brother Jacob (Jenny) Bliefernicht and their children Beckett and Finley; parents-in-law Scott and Jackie Haag; brother-in-law Kristian (Kathy) Haag and their daughter Rose; grandmother-in-law Dorothy Jones; along with numerous family and friends.

Kristin was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Henry and Lucille Bliefernicht and her maternal grandparents Lloyd and Lorraine Voss.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, Oconomowoc ProHealth Cancer Center, and the Watertown Regional Emergency Room for all the care provided to Kristin.

Memorials in Kristin’s name can be made to Temple of Kinship, a Wisconsin-based retreat for individuals navigating stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.

A celebration of Kristin’s life will be held at a later date.
