Kenneth Michael Geszvain

Kenneth Michael Geszvain, age 88, of Waconia, MN, formerly of Chaska, MN, died peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2026, at StoryPoint Senior Living, Waconia, MN.

A Memorial Service will be held at Westwood Community Church, 3121 Westwood Drive, Excelsior, MN on Monday, November 9, 2026, 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00.

The graveside service will be held at Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia, WI at 3:00 PM Thursday November 5, 2026.

Kenneth was born on January 21, 1938, in Merton, WI, one of seven children to William and Avis (Stutz) Geszvain. He graduated from Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI and then proudly served his county in the United States Army from 1958-1960. On June 25, 1965, he married Mary Gerbenskey at Hartland Congregational Church, Hartland, WI. They had two daughters, Jennifer and Kati. Ken and Mary were residents of Ixonia, WI for 48 years before moving to Chaska in 2014. He was employed at Lenloy Manufacturing in Oconomowoc, WI for 25 years. He was a member or the Ixonia Volunteer Fire Department, the Lions Club, the Ixonia Parks Board and a member of Dr. Martin Luther Church in Oconomowoc. He also volunteered considerable time at Shorehaven Senior Living in Oconomowoc. Ken was an avid gardener, (flowers for Mary and vegetables for all), Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan, and loved reading, especially about history, World War II and the Civil War. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary (2018), and siblings.

Survivors include his children, Jennifer (Dave) Neubauer, of Chaska, Dr. Kati Geszvain of Chico, CA; 3 grandchildren, David Neubauer, Steven Neubauer, Lizzy Neubauer (fiancee’, Trevor Hammen); brother, Gary; other relatives and friends.
