Kathryn O. Gross

Kathryn O. Gross, age 83, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 17, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Leo; her children Larry Heider, Michael (Susan) Heider, James Heider, Michele (Derek) Burnett, Russell (Mary) Gross, Perry (Carlos) Edge-Gross, Bart Gross, Sherry (John) Sontag, Dana Burgett, and Jodi (Jim) Huebner; 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; as well as siblings Tom, Bill, Regina, and Maria. She is preceded in death by her daughter Susan Heider, and grandson Alan Heider. Kathryn was a member of 4 card clubs throughout the Oconomowoc area. She volunteered at AngelsGrace hospice alongside her husband Leo for 12 and a half years. She also volunteered at St. Catherine of Alexandria church. She loved going to the casino, having visited nearly every casino in Wisconsin. Kathryn had a career at Brownberry Ovens for many years. Above all, she loved taking care of her family and her great grandchildren were the joy of her life. A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathryn will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 11:00am, with a visitation beforehand from 9:00am to 10:45am, all to take place at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in Oconomowoc. A burial will follow at La Belle Cemetery.
