Karole Kabbeck Meylor, 90, of Watertown, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026. Born on October 18, 1935, in Wisconsin, she was the beloved daughter of Karl and Elizabeth Kabbeck. Karole was the proud valedictorian of West Milwaukee, Class of 1953, and married her cherished husband, Michael, in 1955.
Karole embarked on a fulfilling journey as a homemaker, lovingly caring for her family. She and her family made their home at Okauchee Lake in 1958, later moving to Eagle River in 2000, spending winters as camp hosts in Ruskin, Florida and returning to Watertown in 2020. Throughout her life, Karole delighted in singing, cooking, reading, and camping. She was a talented artist and her lifelong love of learning is an inspiration. She leaves behind countless memories shared with her loved ones. Karole is survived by her children, Colleen (James) Marsh, Brian (Karen) Meylor, and Maureen Kirkland; her grandchildren, Corey (Mery) Marsh, John (Annellse) Marsh, Shannon (Patrick) Richards, Joshua (Natalie) Meylor, Samantha Flint, Sarah (Adam) Nelson and Taylor (Amy) Kirkland; her great-grandchildren, Koen and Berkely Meylor, Mason and Hayden Richards, Cru and Gianna Flint, and Elijah and Amira Nelson. She is also survived by her sister, Dianne Herr, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her parents; her son-in-law, James Marsh; and her sister, Susan Johnson.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Marquardt Village for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Oconomowoc Scholarship Fund or the Badger Honor Flight.
