Joseph Patrick Warren

Joseph Patrick Warren, age 75, passed away on October 7, 2026. Joe was born in St. Louis, MO on January 11, 1951 to William and Gracia Warren.

Joe is survived by his wife Eileen (nee Krafcheck), his children Anna (Michael), Philip, Mary (Brad), John (German), and Teresa; grandchildren Oliver, Benjamin, Andrew, Everett, and Cecilia; his sisters Adrienne Patton (nee Warren) and Marguerite Warren; his sisters-in-law Amy Kasza and Jackie (Kerry) Hass, his nieces India and Avalon, nephews Warren and Brian, and great-niece Moira.

Joe is preceded in death by his daughter Emily Kaethe Warren, parents William and Gracia, brother Joseph Edward, sister Bernadette, mother and father-in-law Geri and Ed Bishop, and his brother-in-law Russ Patton.

Joe was a graduate of University of Missouri – Rolla where he studied engineering. He spent his career as a mechanical engineer. He was a problem-solver. Whether it was a crossword puzzle, sudoku, or something that needed fixing, there was not a problem that Joe couldn’t solve.

He also had a life-long love of music. He played many instruments including guitar, banjo, hammered-dulcimer, harmonica, drums, and hand-bells. He also composed music and had a wonderful singing voice. He enjoyed playing in church, with different instrumental groups that he was a part of, and with his wife, Eileen. Playing music and sharing his music with others brought him great joy.

In addition, Joe enjoyed traveling with his wife and creating memories around the world with her. Their recent travels included Italy, France, Switzerland, Israel, Ireland, Alaska, and Hawaii. A highlight of their trips was their yearly vacation to the Wisconsin Dells to spend time with their grandchildren.

Joe was a very proud father and grandpa. He cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. He taught them about his love of music, love of cooking, love of playing chess, and love of learning. He was always ready to give the best bear hugs.

Most importantly, Joe was a child of God. He loved his Savior Jesus and we trust that he is now resting in His merciful arms.
