James "Jim" Szalanski

James “Jim” Szalanski, age 78, passed away at home on December 30, 2023. Jim was born in Milwaukee, WI to Henry and Cecelia (nee Obarski) on December 4, 1945.

Jim is survived by his children, Michael and Brenda; brother Gordon; along with other loving family and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Judith; and brother, David.

Jim loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed his yearly getaways to the casino and deer and turkey hunting with family and friends.

A celebration of Jim’s life will take place on January 20, 2023 at the American Legion Post #399 (N50 W34750 E. Wisconsin Ave, Okauchee Lake, WI 53069) from 11:00am-2:00pm.
