Geraldine J. Fluke (nee Russell) passed away peacefully of natural causes at Three Pillars, Dousman, WI on April 7, 2025 at the age of 92.
Jeri was born August 2, 1932 in Earl, Wisconsin and after completion of Gallatin County High School., Bozemen, MT joined the US Army. She was trained as a still photographer and lab technician. Among her many duty stations were Chicago, IL, the Pentagon, Fort McClellan, AL, Fort Sam Houston, TX, Fort Lawton, WA and Camp Zama Japan.
Upon discharge, Jeri went back to school on the GI Bill attending night school while she worked for Maynard Steel, Ryerson Steel and Allen Bradley Company. She belonged to a number of Fraternal and Civic organizations and was an avid painter and loved needle work. Jeri married Barnaby C. Fluke on November 13, 1976.
Jeri was preceded in death by: her husband Barnaby C. Fluke; Vincent and Tory (Mary) Russel, her brothers; and Jane Hesprich, her niece. Jeri is survived by: her Stepson Bryan (Carla) Fluke, their daughters (Catherine (Nate) Walker and Elizabeth (Steven) Sprigg; her nieces and nephews Susan (John) Calten; Nicolas Hesprich; James (Theresa) Russell; Tara (Joseph) Strassburg; Wendy (Scott) Muckerheide; Kerry (Dan) Felten and many great and great great nieces and nephews.
We wish to thank the staff of Three Pillars for her care and concerns for Jeri during the last years of her life. A special thank you to Angela who never failed to answer a phone call or an email and Melissa who helped facilitate our weekly facetime calls.
A Memorial Service to honor Geraldine's life will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at the Three Pillars Senior Living Communities located 314 East Village Court, Dousman, WI.
