Geraldine T. Beckstrom
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Geraldine Beckstrom.
Geri was the kind of woman who left a lasting impression on everyone she met; gentle, generous, and full of love. Known for her warm heart and unwavering strength, she was always the first to help someone in need. She worked hard throughout her life, never complaining, always giving, and showing her family what it meant to persevere with grace.
Geraldine loved to cook and bake and was known for her famous rigatoni. She enjoyed spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens during the summer months. She loved bowling, traveling and spending time with her family. Her traveling took her to Germany, Austria, Poland, Italy and throughout the United States. An avid reader, she was at the local library every week checking out the latest mysteries, and her favorite classics. Her love of music could be heard throughout her home including polkas, country, jazz and easy listening.
She raised her children with love and devotion. She is survived by her children Herman, Marian, Donna, Kathryn (Ray) and Mike. She is now reunited in peace with her husband Herbert, son Bruce, grandson Corey, sisters Marian and Lorraine, and her parents. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and cherished.
To know her was to be loved by her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her sweet nature, strong spirit, and the deep love she poured into her family.
The family wishes to thank the Waterford of Hartford, Brighton Hospice and Pagenkopf Funeral Home for their wonderful and devoted care of Geraldine.
The family sincerely appreciates your condolences and asks for privacy as they grieve the profound loss of their mother.
