Florence Hanns

Florence Hanns, age 98, passed away on January 28 after a short illness. Currently living at Marquardt Manor in Watertown, she always felt as though Park Falls was home. Florence and her husband, Howard, worked at Gambles in Park Falls in the 40's and 50's, then bought the Winter Dairy and lived in Winter, WI for many years. In the 70's, they opened the Shawano Shoe Outlet in Shawano and remained there after their retirement. After Howard's death, she moved to Milwaukee area to be near her daughter and other family. Florence is survived by her daughter, Nancy Blaski (Harris), two granddaughters, Wendy Blaski and Mary Goplin (Jeff), two great-granddaughters, Jenny Schellinger (Mark) and Erin Goplin, four great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Florence was cremated and will be interred in Nola Cemetery in Park Falls, WI in May.
