Evanne G. "Eve" Paddock

Evanne G. “Eve” Paddock passed away peacefully at 90 years old on March 28th, 2026. She was born on September 20th, 1935, the daughter of Harry and Eva Olson.

She is survived by her children Jeff (Bobbi) Paddock and Debbie (Duane) Domagalski; grandchildren Sydney and Chase Paddock, and her very special nephews, nieces, dear cousins, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, brother Wally, and her parents.

Eve was born in Rockford, IL, and later moved to Delavan, WI, where she graduated from Delavan High School. She married the love of her life, Ray, on March 16th 1957, and together they moved to Hales Corners in 1965, followed by Waukesha in 1976. Eve thrived as a Custom Decorator for JCPenney for 40 years, and was so dedicated that she became a member of their Million Dollar Club, and was active with the Business & Professional Women's club of Waukesha.

Eve knew how to get away and enjoy life too, whether it was weekends boating on the Lauderdale Lakes in Elkhorn and Lake Beulah in East Troy, trips to St. Pete Beach in Florida to visit her brother, or the two weeks she spent each summer at the Coachlite Resort in Minocqua. Eve and Ray enjoyed the vacation of a lifetime together in Hawaii, thanks to Jeff's generous donation of travel miles earned in recovery efforts after Hurricane Hugo. The pair rented a convertible and drove the iconic road to Hana in Maui, soaking up the crystal blue coast on their dream trip.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and caregivers at LindenGrove in Mukwonago for the exceptional care, love, and compassion they showed not only to Eve, but also the entire family in her final days.

A visitation to celebrate Eve's life will be held on Sunday, April 19th at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 10AM to 12PM, with a service to follow.
