Elizabeth (Betsy) Jane Andrews

Elizabeth (Betsy) Jane Andrews, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on February 12, 2026. Betsy was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 23, 1947 to Sara and Robert Eisen. Betsy is survived by her daughter, Emily Jon Tobias, her brother, George Eisen, her stepson, Terry Andrews, and many friends and relatives who loved her. Betsy is preceded in death by her husband, John Andrews, and her parents.

Betsy had a huge heart and touched every person she met with kindness, compassion, and empathy. She had the uncanny ability to love all equally, and her warmth made those who crossed her path feel like they were coming home. Her benevolence was balanced by a fierce spirit of independence and resilience all of which she passed along in her most cherished role as mother to her daughter, Emily. In her younger days, Betsy led a full life traveling the world while serving in the Peace Corps. Later years were spent on her property in Watertown, WI where she enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds year round, and relishing in the peace of nature. Betsy's light filled any room she entered, her tenderness helped all she knew, and her spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
