Donna Sue Kuehl

It is with deep love and sadness that Donna Sue Kuehl passed away peacefully, surrounded by love on January 9, 2026 at the age of 70. Donna was born in Lawrence, Kansas on November 21, 1955 to Neal and Edna Rist.

Donna had a love of cooking and baking, that brought her family together. She was famous for her delicious cheesecakes and other numerous deserts. Donna had a loving and supportive heart for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Always being there for them in any time of need.

Donna was a “people person”. Her employment throughout the years was servicing and helping the public, which led her to develop many, many friendships within her places of work. She is known as being a “second mom” to many that knew her.

Donna loved to travel. Preferably to warm destinations. Her travels included many cruises, trips to Arizona and a trip to Hawaii with her dear friend Dawn.

Donna is survived by her children Jennifer (Chad) Samanske, Jackie (Mike) Lewis and Jeremy Kuehl; grandchildren Hannah, CJ and Gavin; along with great-children Aiden and Paisley; along with nieces and nephews.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents Neal and Edna Rist, Brothers Bob and Bruce Rist and her daughter Justine Kuehl.

In celebration of Donna’s life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a service to honor her memory following at 6:00 PM. The family warmly invites all to come and celebrate her life and share stories and memories of Donna.
