Diane Marie Koss

Diane Marie Koss, of Delafield, WI passed away peacefully on September 6th, 2026 at the age of 68, surrounded by her children and beloved Poms, L.B. and Darcy.

Born on June 13th, 1958 in Milwaukee, WI to Donald & Theresa Koss. Diane, fondly known as “Di”, lived a life full of color, flavor, and outdoor adventure. She was a woman of many talents who marched to the beat of her own drum.

Di was happiest when she was immersed in nature, cooking in her kitchen, or working on one of her many art projects. She knew the best fishing spots, cooked game food like a boss, and shared her artistic creations with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving children, Rachel (Kevin) Turner, Jason (Alysha) Morgan and Amy (Aaron Olszak) Morgan; her 8 cherished grandchildren Chandler (Alyssa), Payton, Ashton, Jayden, Landon, Teegan, Rowan and Cameron; Siblings John (Bonnie) Koss, Jim (Robin) Koss, Donna (Bill) Scheffelmear and Terri (Ken) Harris; In addition to several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her longtime partner in life, especially their hunting & fishing adventures, Mike “Papa” Boretsky, her parents, Donald & Theresa Koss, and brother Tom Koss.

We cannot overlook the exceptional care that Mom received from her care team at ProHealth Care Hospice. Jordan, Lori, Mara & Lola, there is a reason you are in this field. Not only did you hold Mom’s hand through this, you held ours as well. Thank you for making this part of her journey much more bearable.
