Dennis Gerold Jaeger, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born on December 29, 1936, in Lebanon, Wisconsin to Gerold and Malinda Jaeger.

Dennis dedicated his life to his work in the construction industry, where his passion for woodworking shone through. He was a true artisan, often using traditional tools and techniques to create custom-built pieces that showcased his meticulous attention to detail. His love for wood and all things handmade turned every project into a masterpiece.

Outside of his carpentry, Dennis enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was a proud member of the Lions Club, contributing his time and talents to serve his community with kindness and generosity.

Dennis is survived by his wife Barbara; his children Todd (Kim), Bret (Bernada) and Daina (Dwayne) Mundt; grandchildren Lukas, Drew, Vanessa, Dennis, Alaina and Noah; great-granddaughter Faith; siblings Dorothy (Steve) Salzman and Roger (Vicky); along with other family and friends.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Everett, William and David.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Three Pillars and Allay Hospice for their compassionate care and support during this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Three Pillars Staff Appreciation Fund

In celebration of Dennis’s life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church (145 E Lisbon Rd, Oconomowoc, WI 53066), followed by a service. After the service, Dennis will be laid to rest at Glenview Memorial Gardens.
