On December 27th, 1940, God gave us Dennis, the first son of Thomas and Evelyn Fuller. He passed away at 84 years on May 24th, 2025, as God wanted him to come back.
Dennis deeply loved his family. He was married to Connie (Gross) for 57 years. Together, they welcomed two sons, Gregory Fuller (Tracie) and Jonathan Fuller (Corinne). In addition, Dennis had three grandchildren, Sadie Carnes, Logan Carnes, and Rylie Fuller.
He is survived by his siblings, Ellen Schofield (Jerry), Jeannine Florczyk (Richard), and Robert Fuller (Joan); his aunt Anne Krejci, brother-in-law Bill Gross (Char), nephews David Gross and Mike Fuller (Sandra), nieces Jody Anderson (Sean) and Mary Repovsch (Josh). Along with many relatives and friends.
Dennis attended St. Aloysius Grade School and Nathan Hale High School in West Allis. He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Dennis was a teamster, driving for twenty-five years at Express Freight Lines and six years for Godfrey Company. In retirement he loved working full-time and part-time with the staff at Wisconsin Equine Clinic and Hospital, often teaming up with his special friend, Jay Larson.
Dennis’ main interest was riding, showing, and breeding quarter horses for fifty years, judging open and 4-H horse shows in Wisconsin. Other interests were having a succession of Border Collies, attending car shows and swap meets…driving his blue 2002 Corvette!
Please join us to celebrate Dennis’ life on Wednesday, June 4th at St. Jerome Catholic Church (995 S Silver Lake St, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 10:30am-12:00pm with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Following the service, Dennis will be laid to rest at St. Jerome Cemetery.
Pagenkopf Funeral Home is serving the family. For more information, call 262-567-4457 or visit www.pagenkopf.com.
In lieu of flowers, it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate in Dennis’ name to HAWS Center for Animals, 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI, 53188, or The American Cancer Society.
A special thank you to Delaney Braun and the nurses and CNAs of Aurora Home Hospice for the dedicated care and concern they gave to Dennis.
