Debra "Debbie" Jean Schweitzer

Our hearts are heavy as we share that Debra “Debbie” Jean Schweitzer, age 71, of Dousman, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025. Debbie was born on September 4, 1954, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to her loving parents, Anne and Gene Barrette.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Schweitzer; her children Ryan Schweitzer, Becky (Billy) Kumprey, Kelly McKenzie, and Jamie (Brian) Pellin; and her beloved grandchildren Skylar, Aviel, London, Willow, Silas, Paisley, and Haven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anne and Gene Barrette.

Debbie brought light and laughter everywhere she went. She had a natural sparkle — whether she was performing on stage in local theatre, taking a leap into one of her many adventures, or flashing her warm smile as a contestant on TV game shows. She was even crowned Mrs. Wisconsin, a title that fit her perfectly, as she radiated grace, confidence, and joy.

Debbie’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the caring staff at Towner Crest in Oconomowoc for the kindness, patience, and compassion they showed her.

Debbie lived life with laughter, courage, and faith — and those who knew her will carry her bright spirit with them always.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you say a rosary or have a Mass offered in Debbie’s memory.

A private funeral service will take place at a date to be determined.
