DELAFIELD – Dave passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, surrounded by family. After a hard-fought battle with cancer, he passed at the age of 71 and is now at peace in Heaven. Born in Milwaukee on October 4, 1954 to his late parents, Joesph and Lucille (nee Kaczmarski) Sucharski.
Wendy (nee Lovrine) was the love of his life for 54 years. They were married nearly 50 years, celebrating their anniversary on August 21. Loving dad of Danielle Sucharski and Ryan (Crystal) Sucharski. Proud grandpa of Brady, Blake, Asher and Leo. Loving brother of Suzanne (David) Ludka and the late Thomas (Susan) Sucharski and brother-in-law of Michael (Jacki) Lovrine. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Dave grew up in South Milwaukee and worked at the family business, W. Sucharski, Inc., all through high school (Pio Nono) and college (UW Milwaukee). He started his career at Superior Die Set Corp. and worked up to Manager of Sales and Marketing. He worked at a few other companies and ended his career at Miro Manufacturing Inc. as Sales Manager for about 20 years.
Dave’s hobbies included fishing (local and Canada), woodworking and reading. He enjoyed working in the yard, feeding the wildlife and photographing them. He enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. He loved attending Brady and Blake’s sporting events.
Dave especially liked spending time with family and friends. He had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor.
Visitation at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280N2101 Prospect Avenue, Pewaukee, WI 53072, on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 9:00am-11:00am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Luncheon to follow at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Elmbrook Humane Society or Wildlife in Need.
