Dale D. Scharp

Born to eternal life on September 28, 2026, at the age of 77 years. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Betty and his son Joshua. Beloved husband and best friend for 44 years to Vicki (nee Paukner). He is survived by his daughter Teresa (Tad) Bey; daughter-in-law Katlynn Scharp; loving and proud grandpa to Jackson (15), Ella (13) and Leyla (11); his sisters Cindy (Gerry) Wegner and Pam (Don) Hansen; mother-in-law Jean Paukner; along with nieces, nephews and his furry companion Lacey.

Dale proudly served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He was an employee of Western States Envelope Company for 48 years. Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to AngelsGrace Hospice are appreciated.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to AngelsGrace Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Dale's final days.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 11:00am-12:00pm with a service to follow. Military honors will conclude the service, paying tribute to his service and commitment to his country. Dale will be laid to rest at LaBelle Cemetery.
