Carol Louise Delie, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, was called home to Heaven on September 24, 2025, at age 72.
Carol loved the Lord with all her heart and lived her life as a testimony to His faithfulness. She met the love of her life, Curt, in 1972. The following year, in 1973, she was confirmed in the Lutheran church and united in marriage to Curt. Their marriage of over 51 years was marked by deep devotion to one another and to Christ, who was always the foundation of their love.
Her greatest earthly treasures were her husband, her three children, her granddaughter, and her son-in-law. Carol especially cherished the time she was able to spend with her granddaughter, with whom she shared a very special bond.
Carol was a devoted stay-at-home mom until her youngest child entered school. She then began a career in real estate, where Curt eventually joined her, and they worked side by side for nearly two decades. Carol enjoyed nearly five wonderful years of retirement with Curt, spending time with a close group of friends and neighbors, and spending winters together in Mexico.
Carol had many joys in life, including cooking, reading, jigsaw puzzles, cross-stitching, and serving at the Blue Butterfly thrift store, where she delighted in sharing her faith with others. Her love for children and her warm, faithful spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Curt; their three children, Gina (Tom) Ozelie, Jill, and Kevin; her granddaughter, Stella Ozelie; her sister, Judy (Randy) Radtke; her brother-in-law, Mike (Denise) Delie; and her nephews, Mike and Steve Delie.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 1650 Brown Street in Oconomowoc, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church or Blue Butterfly Ministries.
She will be deeply missed but is now at peace, resting safely in the arms of her Savior, knowing that God’s timing is always perfect. Carol’s favorite reply was "Joy in Jesus!”
