Betty Louise Hubbard

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Betty Louise (nee Olson) Hubbard, cherished wife, devoted mother, best grandmother & friend anyone could ask for. Betty left this world peacefully on September 21, 2026 at the age of 87. Born in Ashland, Wisconsin and longtime resident of Oconomowoc, WI where she and her husband Neil raised their family.

Betty was an energetic, kind soul with a passion for life. In her 41-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease, she let little stand in her way. Betty was very active and enjoyed a life filled with bowling and golf. If Betty wasn’t on the golf course or at the bowling alley, she could be found relishing the camaraderie of playing cards or Mahjong with friends.

From upholstering furniture to sewing projects, Betty’s talents were endless. She was an amazing cook and baker, and was well-known for her brownies, which were affectionately named “Betty’s Brownies” by all those lucky enough to have tasted them.

Betty loved adventure and cherished her travels. Whether it was a spontaneous mini vacation in the RV or a magical trip to Disney, she was ready for the experience. When not traveling, Betty enjoyed entertaining. On the holidays, a birthday or just a random Saturday, she welcomed friends and family into her home for great food and even better company. Betty left this world better than she found it and will be missed incredibly.

She is survived by her loving husband Neil Hubbard of 56 years, her children Vicki Robertson, Robin (Mike) Stoll, Mitchell (Kristine) Hubbard, and Kristen (Kevin) Kloss. Grandchildren Nicholas (Terry) Lord, Tyler (Jessica) Pape, Jennifer Dinolfo, Kevin (Erin) Pape, and Natalie Kloss. Betty is further survived by 8 Great Grandchildren and her siblings John Olson, Bobby Olson & Janet (Bob) Mattson.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Arnold & Glady Olson, Siblings: Margie Foley, Billy Olson, Rick Olson, Jimmy Olson and Nancy Olson. She is also preceded in death by her son-in-law Richard Robertson.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Froedtert Neurology Team and the compassionate caregivers at Aurora Summit and Angels Grace for their exceptional support and care during her final days. A special thanks to Tairei who came to the home to help care for Betty as well.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to any Parkinson's foundation of your choice, honoring Betty's admirable spirit and commitment to helping others.

In honor of Betty Louise Hubbard's extraordinary life, a celebration will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N Silver Maple Ln, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. The family asks you please stay after the service for a luncheon held at Pagenkopf Funeral home. We invite all those whose lives were touched by Betty to join us in commemorating her legacy and the vibrant life she led.
