Betty Jane Eichinger

Betty Jane Eichinger (Rychlewski), a beacon of love and faith, was born on July 10, 1961, to Leonard Rychlewski Sr. and Mary Jane Rychlewski (Struck) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On her 64th birthday, July 10, 2025, Betty peacefully entered into Eternal Life at her home in Pembine, Wisconsin, after a valiant five-year battle with cancer, her courage unwavering until the end.

Betty was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose radiant spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her deep devotion to Jesus Christ, our Savior, guided her life, rooted in the wisdom of the Holy Scriptures. She faced life’s challenges with grace and resilience, uplifting those around her with her warm smile. Even in her final days, Betty’s strength and determination inspired her loved ones to embrace each moment and hold fast to the bonds of family and faith.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Rychlewski Sr. and Mary Jane Rychlewski; her brother, Leonard Rychlewski Jr.; her sister, Shirley Rose Reiger; her beloved son, Joseph Raymond Eichinger; her precious grandson, Cole Michael Eichinger; and her nephew and niece, Barry J. Kirby and Tammy Ann Kirby.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Terry Eichinger Sr., and their cherished children: Terry Eichinger Jr. (Mindy), Matthew Eichinger (Nanakjit), and Daniel Eichinger (D’Lacey). Betty’s legacy endures in her beloved grandchildren—Alana Eichinger, Joshua Eichinger, and Branwen Eichinger—as well as her sisters, Patricia Kirby (Rychlewski) and Peggy Meyhoff (Rychlewski), and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Betty’s life was a testament to kindness, selflessness, and an extraordinary gift for bringing people together. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the love she so generously gave. Her family and friends will forever carry her warmth in their hearts, celebrating a woman whose faith and love knew no bounds.

A family service to honor Betty’s life and legacy will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 Silver Maple Ln, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) on Saturday, July 26, 2025 with visitation at 11:00am-1:00pm and a service to follow.
