Austin Dale Workman

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Austin Dale Workman, who left this world too soon on April 28, 2025, at the age of 37. Austin was born on June 24, 1987, in Beatrice, Nebraska to Donald and Jeanie Workman.

Austin grew up in Beatrice, where he spent his childhood collecting die-cast toys with his brother, Brady. He cultivated his entrepreneurial spirit early on by starting A & B Lawncare with his brother, demonstrating a passion for hard work and dedication that would follow him throughout his life. He graduated from Beatrice High School in 2005 and with a creative spirit and a determination to forge his own path, he continued his education at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. While studying, Austin’s journey began—he founded Workman Enterprises, which he affectionately referred to as his "first baby." Austin continued to build his legacy with his brother in acquiring many paths in business.

On November 2007, Austin met the love of his life, Rachel Baldwin. Their connection was instant, and seven years later, on October 11, 2014, they exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony at St. John the Baptist Church in Howard, Wisconsin. Their love blossomed further with the arrival of their precious twin girls, Addison Quinn and Zoe Brynn, born on December 14, 2017. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He loved taking his daughters swimming, roller skating, playing in the dirt and embarking on adventures. Austin was a great husband, dad, brother and son. His love poured out in everything he did.

Austin never met a stranger and had the undeniable ability to make everyone comfortable. He was known for his genuine heart, his strong work ethic, and his generosity in all aspects of his life. He was first and foremost a wonderful husband and daddy to his 3 girls. We will miss him endlessly and vow to continue his legacy of generosity and kindness. If there are auctions in Heaven, I hope God has a big piggy bank.

Austin is survived by the love of his life, Rachel; his beautiful twin daughters Addison and Zoe; family pets Ginger and Bess; mother Jeanie Workman, father Donald (Marcia) Workman, brother Brady (Tayler) Workman; step-sister Chelsea (Matt) Mueller; parents-in-law Loren and Brenda Baldwin, sister-in-law Mandi (Jason) Beers; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Lorene Fielder, Roger and Beulah Jurgens and Ron and Kathryn Workman.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to the neighbors of the Pines Subdivision for their unwavering support, especially to Rachel and Aaron Marjala and Marilyn St. Martin. Additionally, we thank the employees of all the Workman companies for their loyalty and support during this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Solstice Sanctuary in the Town of Brighton, WI, and to Dousman Elementary in Dousman, WI, where his daughters attend school.

In celebration of Austin's life, a visitation will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) on Monday, May 5, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service to follow. We invite all family and friends to join us as we honor the remarkable life of a truly extraordinary man.

From his wife, Rachel: I vowed to find you in this life, and I will find you in the next. I’ll love you forever.
