Emblem

Arnold Koch, age 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Ash Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc.

Arnie is preceded in death by his beloved wife Elaine. Dear father of Diane (the late Rick) Luty, Joanne (George) Davies, Dennis (Denise), Andy (former spouse Sandy), and Mark (Bridget). Proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Arnie was a dedicated, loving husband to Elaine, and a great father devoted to the success and happiness of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Irene Koch, sisters Judy (the late Raymond) Schaefer and Lois (the late Raymond) Kluender, and brother Fred “Butch” (the late Shirley) Koch.

Arnie proudly served as a U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant in Korea 1954-1957. The unwavering discipline and strong work ethic he learned as a Marine defined him, and these qualities have been a guiding influence for his children and grandchildren as well. Arnie was also proud of his long, successful career at United Parcel Service where he worked his way up from package handler and delivery driver to district management. After retirement he and Elaine enjoyed spending most of their time at their home in Sarasota, Florida. They loved to travel and always cherished the family gatherings in Florida.

The family would like to thank Arnie’s hospice nurse Alicia from Vitas Healthcare and the Shorehaven skilled nursing staff for their kind and compassionate care. The family would also like to thank the Shorehaven independent living staff for their friendship and support over the last ten years. Donations to Lutheran Homes of Oconomowoc (Shorehaven) in Arnie’s name are greatly appreciated.

Private services will be held.
