Anna Krug

Anna Krug, age 93, passed away on September 23, 2025 at Aurora Summit Hospital with her children at her side. She was born in Pancowa, Yugoslavia on November 10, 1931, the loving daughter to John and Julianna Klaus (nee Bachman).

Anna was an exceptional homemaker, dedicating her life to nurturing her family with love and kindness. She had a deep passion for cooking and baking, often filling her home with delightful aromas.

Her garden was her sanctuary, where she tended to her flowers and vegetables with care, finding joy in the simple beauty of nature. She was also an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and took great pride in cheering for her team.

Above all, Anna's greatest love was for her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, pouring her heart into every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her children Edward (Jennifer) Krug and Lore (Evert) Dahlke; grandchildren Ashley Krug and Alyssa (William II) Woodley; great-grandchildren William III, Bellemy and Broyden; sister Hilda Rozga and Gisela Denninger; sister-in-law Vera Klaus; nieces and nephews; along with many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joachim; her parents; brothers Frank and Robert Klaus; brothers-in-law Joseph Stumvoll and Joseph Denninger.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Pagenkopf Funeral Home for their compassionate assistance in making arrangements during this difficult time, as well as WI Memorial Park for providing a serene final resting place.

Anna’s life will be celebrated on Monday, September 29, 2025. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center-North West Chapel (13037 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005), followed by a service honoring her life.
