Ann Helen Ouradnik

Ann Helen Ouradnik, age 91, was surrounded by her loving family when she completed her earthly journey on September 13, 2026 and entered into eternal peace with her Heavenly Father. Born on December 23, 1934, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ann was the cherished daughter of Herman and Anna Ostmann. She lived her life with grace and love, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew her.

Ann is lovingly remembered by her daughter Lonnie (Dan) Schmidt, her sons Creg (Lucy) Ouradnik and Timothy (Dawn) Ouradnik, and her adoring grandchildren: Christine (Rick) Schwarze, Aaron (Emily) Schmidt, Jason (Pamela) Schmidt, Andrew (Emily) Schmidt, Christopher Ouradnik, and Jennifer (Daniel) O'Connor. She cherished her great-grandchildren: Graiden Schwarze, Sullivan Schwarze, Harper Schwarze, Hunter Schmidt, Hazel Schmidt, Callen Schmidt, Parker Schmidt, Declan Schmidt, Oliver Schmidt, and William Schmidt. Ann is also survived by her brother Albert (Shelia) Ostmann.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Ouradnik, with whom she shared 56 beautiful years of marriage. Ann was also welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, brothers Herman and Henry Ostmann and her grandson Ryan Schmidt.

Ann led a vibrant life, filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. After moving to the farm in 1966, and spending over two decades there until 1989, Ann cultivated a deep love for the land and the family life it nurtured. She was a business owner of a resale shop and was known for her vibrant personality and strong community ties. Ann loved playing games with her grandchildren, spending time at the movies, reading any book she could find, working on puzzles, and sharing her passion for trivia with friends from high school. A passionate fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, she never missed a chance to watch her favorite team on TV. She knew all the players inside and out.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff and volunteers at Angels Grace and Pastor Jackie Cook for the comfort and care they provided.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church or Angels Grace.
