Allen Irving Jerabek

Allen Irving Jerabek, age 82, passed away in his home on October 20th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 15th, 1942, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Irving and Bernadine (Moberg) Jerabek. 

Allen is survived by his wife, Lana (Armstrong) Jerabek; his son, Jesse (Trisha) Jerabek; his daughter, Lorelei (Kevin) Rauch; his grandchildren, Paul Neira, Savannah (Michael) Henning, Paityn (Hunter) Petersen, Brody Jerabek, Alexis Rauch; his great grandchildren, Fletcher and Briar Henning, Bowen, Rhett and Tate Petersen; his sister, Kay (George) Riemer; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Bernadine Jerabek; and his grandson, Logan Ries. 

Allen spent 4 years serving in the U.S Army, he was honorably discharged in December of 1966. He married the love of his life, Lana, in 1968. They built a home in Pewaukee, Wisconsin in 1972, where they raised their son, Jesse, and daughter, Lorelei. He was a truck driver for many years, with a hobby of sausage making in the basement of his own home, where he made sausage for his church, family and friends. This led to the opening of the Sausage Haus in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin in July of 1986. The Sausage Haus was his pride and joy for the last 40 years, where many customers turned into friends. Through the years, Allen spent his life working, spending time with his family, and playing pool leagues. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and ability to nap wherever he was. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025 at St Anthony’s on the Lake, W280N2102 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee, with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A private burial will take place at Summit Cemetery at a later date.
