Allan C Eighmy age 87 of Oconomowoc, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Al was born in Watertown and after graduating high school in Menomonie, moved to Oconomowoc where he raised his family. He was employed by Silgan for 44 years, was a long time member of the Lions Club of Ixonia, and a devoted parishioner at Dr Martin Luther Church.
Al loved to talk to people and had a one-of-a-kind ability to make a connection with everyone he saw. He would often make people laugh with a joke or story that made him memorable to people everywhere he went.
Al enjoyed staying busy being with people, working on projects and spending time outside. He loved being at his cabin, going to Packer games, traveling, hunting and fishing. Above all he loved being with his family and friends.
Al is survived by his daughters De Ann Eighmy and Kathy (Tim) McMullen, his grandchildren Tyler Eighmy, Kaitlin (Shawn) DeVault and Nick McMullen, and his great-grandchild, Mae DeVault. He is further survived by sisters Eleanor Stevens, Janet (George) Hedstrom, Carol (Steve) Ritter, brothers Jerry (Irene) Eighmy and Dennis (Donna) Eighmy, along with many other family and friends.
Al is preceded in death by his wife Donna, son Daniel, mother Grace, father Calvin, brother Mike, brother-in-law Tom Stevens, and his significant other Barb Thurow.
Al will never be forgotten by those of us whose lives he touched.
