Margaret L Bohrman

Margaret Bohrman, age 91, of Oconomowoc , passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Shorehaven. She was born September 18, 1927 in Blue Island, IL, daughter to John and Maryann (Hannman) McNamara. Margaret graduated from Blue Island Community High School in 1945. After high school she worked for her beloved boss, Dick Fraizer at Great West Life Insurance Company in Chicago. In 1947, Margaret traveled Route 66 with friends to California. While living at the Mary Andrews Clark residence in Los Angeles, Margaret met her future husband, Jacque (Buck) Bohrman, also from the midwest (Waukesha, WI) and they married on October 31, 1948. They returned to Wisconsin and had seven children before divorcing in 1975. Margaret was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Parish and St. Jerome Parish. She was a voracious reader who loved gardening, cooking, history, music, birds, and poetry by Robert Burns. Margaret is survived by her children Kelly Bohrman, Dan (Jill) Bohrman, Tom (Kathleen) Bohrman, John Bohrman, Mark Panetti, and daughter-in-law, Jean Bohrman; grandchildren Rachel Rauch, Mike (Becky) Bohrman, Amy (Chris) Fanning, PJ (Kersta) Bohrman, Emily (Bob) Pulkowski, Carlie (Brett) McLeod, and Katie Bohrman; great grandchildren Cole, Paige, Mike, Bryce, Dennis, Callie, Everley, Keller, Louisa, Jaxson, Graham, Layne and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sons Michael and Patrick; brothers Frances, Joey, and Bill; sisters Millie, Doris, Lorretta, Rita, and Marion, her parents and dear friend Dr. Richard Chambers. The family would like to thank all of Margaret's caregivers at Shorehaven over the years. Memorials in honor of Margaret can be made to The Milwaukee Public Broadcasting Service, 1036 North 8th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53233. Services for Margaret will take place on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at St. Jerome Parish, 995 S. Silver Lake Street, Oconomowoc. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 4:00pm until time of Mass at 6:00pm.
