Lillian E. Werth

Lillian Ella Werth, 91, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2013. Lillian was born March 23, 1922 in Ashippun to the late William and Augusta Radtke. On June 1, 1940 she married her beloved husband, the late Herbert Werth, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ashippun. They were blessed to share 70 years of marriage together. Lillian spent her adult life living in Oconomowoc. Her husband was a dairy farmer, and she enjoyed helping him on the farm. Lillian enjoyed baking her famous pies and desserts and growing her beautiful flowers. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and a kindness she shared with everyone she knew. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Dean of Sterling Heights, MI; a granddaughter Carolynn (Michael) Mosey of Macomb, MI; two great-grandchildren Ayden and Noah Mosey also of Macomb, MI and a sister Elsie Jaenicke of Brookfield, WI. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert, her parents, and a sister Della Fashun. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 14 at 12pm at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon, with the Rev. John Kelling officiating. Visitation will be in the church at 11am until the time of service. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lebanon.
