Delafield- Joseph J. Branski, age 73, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Joe was born September 1, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Norbert and Mary Jane (O’Brien) Branski. On June 1, 1963 he was united in marriage to Marilyn Harris, whom he was happily married to for 49 years. He is survived by his children, Kathy (John) Micka of Belleville, WI and Mike (Jen) Branski of Mukwonago, WI and by his grandsons Sam and Jack Micka, and Charlie Branski. He is also survived by his mother Mary Jane, brothers Norbert (Sandra) Branski, John Branski, Marc Branski and sister Gloria (Dale) Blake. He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, father Norbert Branski, and sister Karen Branski. Joe spent his career working for Milwaukee General Construction. He loved spending time with his family and traveling with Marilyn and was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks and the Wisconsin Badger Teams. However, there was nothing he enjoyed more than watching the Green Bay Packers play. A private family service was held for the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gilberto (Gil) Rodrigues and the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Summit for the wonderful care they have provided over the last few years. In addition, the family would also like to thank Angels Grace Hospice and all of the friends and neighbors who have offered support. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
