Bennett, Gregory John Age 64 passed away at home with his loving son, Ian and daughter-in law, Renee by his side. Greg was a graduate of UW- Whitewater where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in biology and chemistry. Greg spent his entire life in the Oconomowoc area enjoying the lakes, wildlife, birds, Kettle Moraine trails and the numerous golf courses. Greg was employed at Miller Brewery where he worked as a quality control analyst for thirty years. Upon retirement, he volunteered at St. Joan of Arc Elementary School where students fondly referred to him as “Mr. Greg'. In addition, Greg was a member of the church choir. Greg was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat, son Ryan, parents Walter and Lois Bennett and brother David. He is survived by his son Ian (Renee), sisters Lynn and Jan (Jeff) Parkinson and brother Mark (Chris), brother-in-law Jack Vavra, sister-in-law Gail Bennett, many nieces, nephews and faithful friends, Rick and Mary Rice and Peggy Losiniecki. Further survived by the Genetti family whose home became Greg’s home away from home where Doris referred to him as the ‘favorite son’. A visitation service will be held on Friday, February 26th at Pagenkopf Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Services on Saturday, February 27th will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 120 Nashotah Rd, Nashotah, WI 53058. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm followed by Mass at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Greg requested memorials to Wildlife in Need Center W349S1480 S Waterville Rd Oconomowoc, WI 53058 or St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
