Edward C. Schultz, 95 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Edward is survived by his loving wife Violet of 71 years and daughters Diann (Gary) Skalitzky of Waterloo, WI, Connie (John) Tokarski of Oconomowoc, WI and Mary (Stanley) Stark of Watertown, WI. Cherished grandfather to Jodi (Kyle) Joas of Waterloo, Matt, Dan and Patrick (Jessica) Tokarski of Oconomowoc, Robert (Amy) Stark of Louisville, KY and Dr. Brian Stark of Lincoln, NE. Great-grandfather to Reid Joas, Joshua, Caleb and Noah Stark. Edward is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, grandson Scott Skalitzky and brother Robert Schultz. Edward was born March 15, 1919 in the Town of Summit to Fred and Minnie (nee Ziegelmann) Schultz. He graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1937. He then married Violet Tinus on June 12, 1943. Ed and Violet lived on the family farm for 71 years. He was a longtime member of Dr. Martin Luther Church and served as the town chairman for the Town of Concord for 16 years and 14 years on the Jefferson County board. Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing sheepshead and was active in sports. He was an avid Packer, Brewer and Badger fan. Edward will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Funeral services for Edward will be held at Dr. Martin Luther Church, 325 South Main Street in Oconomowoc at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service, all to be held at the church. Edward will be laid to rest at Summit Cemetery following the service.
