Charles P. Brumder Our beloved Charlie passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family on May 3, 2014. He is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years Katie, his daughters Bradley (Eddie) Wabiszewski, Ellery (Quentin) Thomas, Karley, Lexi and Eily. He was “Bumpa” to his grandchildren Augie, Charlotte, Molly and Thomas Wabiszewski and Leo Thomas. He is also survived by his father, Robert C. Brumder, siblings Thekla Sanford, Robo, David and Amy Nunnally, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Barbara B. Brumder. A true family man, Charlie’s life was dedicated to community and bringing people together. He was a passionate philanthropist, committed to supporting University Lake School, Tall Pines Land Conservancy and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. He was an active member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Heileger Huegel Ski Club, Pine Lake Yacht Club, Chenequa Country Club and the Milwaukee Club. He was a cowboy at heart and loved spending time at Rancho de Los Caballeros in Wickenburg, AZ. Charlie’s unconditional, selfless love touched countless lives and he will be remembered for his overwhelming charisma, impeccable style, and passion for life. A celebration of Charlie’s life will take place on Saturday May 10, 2014 at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta at 11:00 AM. W314 N7462, State Hwy 83, Hartland, WI 53029. There will be a visitation/reception for family and friends at Chenequa Country Club from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to University Lake School, Tall Pines Land Conservancy, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
