Kevin Pagenkopf Owner/Licensed Funeral Director

Kevin has been proudly serving Oconomowoc and the Lake Country area as a licensed funeral director since 1999 and is fourth generation owner at Pagenkopf Funeral Home.  The rich heritage of his family’s legacy in providing comfort to those who are mourning continues with Kevin, the great-grandson of Arthur Pagenkopf who, in 1913, established Pagenkopf Funeral Home.  Twenty-five years of experience in funeral care ensures that families who work with Kevin in their time of need receive great service and compassion from a professional that understands how to provide guidance and comfort to grieving families.   Kevin is an Oconomowoc native and strong supporter of the community. 

He is a current board member serving on the Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce as Past President, is the current President of the Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce Foundation and is a board member of Zachariah’s Acres. He is a past board member of OPEF (Oconomowoc Public Education Fund), YMCA at Pabst Farms and the Oconomowoc Lacrosse Club.

Kevin has been happily married to Cindy for 15 years and resides in Oconomowoc with their son, Mason and dog, Arthur.  In his spare time he enjoys playing golf with his family and has a passion for bow-hunting, which his son also shares.  He also enjoys boating, snowmobiling on the local trails, and spending time with family and friends.

Cynthia Pagenkopf Owner/Pre-need Specialist

Cindy oversees the daily operations of the funeral home, and is a licensed pre-funding specialist. A native of Oconomowoc, she cares deeply about the community and currently serves and volunteers at Zachariah's Acres, YMCA of Pabst Farms, James Fuller Memorial Railroad, and ProHealth Care's WomenConnected.

 Yvett is a Licensed Funeral Director with a heart to help families in the Lake Country area. She grew up in Lebanon,WI. She recieved a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College in Social Work and Religon. In 2004 she returned to school to become a Funeral Director. She lived and worked in Madison for 20 years before joining the Pagenkopf team.

Yvett is kind and compassionate with a strong desire to listen and serve our families through their time of need. Yvett feels blessed to have joined the Pagenkopf family team and Oconomowoc community. She enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin and son Cullen. They love to explore State parks, local lakes, ice cream stands and attending Brewers games.

 Kevin J. Collopy is a licensed funeral director with almost 20 years experience serving families in their time of need. A 2000 graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling,Il; Kevin moved to Wisconsin in 2011. Married his lovely wife Yvett in 2012 and welcomed a beautiful smiley baby boy Cullen in 2014. This past summer the family relocated to Oconomowoc from Madison. Kevin enjoys culinary arts, and sharing meals with family. Kevin and his son enjoy fishing, swimming, and garage sale-ing, sledding and building and knocking down snowmen. But most of all Kevin enjoys being Dad to Cullen.

 Renee was born and raised in Milwaukee, but now resides in Pewaukee with her two spoiled Pomeranians Pixie and Sebastian. Renee loves to travel; she has been to many European Countries but her heart keeps taking her back to London. After the passing of her Beloved Oma and Dad, she realized that helping others through the loss of their loved ones was a passion of hers. Renee graduated in 2019 with High Honors from Milwaukee Area Technical College, with a degree in Mortuary Science. She is eager to learn and grow in her career as a Funeral Director. Renee has a kind and gentle spirit and a can-do attitude that makes her a wonderful asset to the Pagenkopf team.

Sierra Mello-Miles Licensed Funeral Director

Sierra is a native of Alaska who served in the United States Army and in Operation Iraqi Freedom. She completed her Masters of Business Administration in Phoenix before finding her passion in funeral service and moving to Wisconsin in 2011. Sierra and her husband Chris relocated from Madison to Oconomowoc in 2017 and have fallen in love with our community. Sierra and Chris have three children and a English Mastiff named Beef which keeps them busy. Sierr's hobbies include weight lifting and nutrition.

D.J. is a licensed pre-funding specialist. He also assists with grave markers, headstones and monuments. D. J. has been a member of the Oconomowoc community since 2005. He is married and has two sons ages 12 & 15. He loves spending time with his family and friends and enjoys boating and snowboarding. D. J. feels honored to help indivduals, couples and families pre-plan their funeral related needs and wishes.

Wes Werner Clergy and Funeral Director Assistant

Wes serves our funeral home as both a pastor and a funeral director assistant. He currently lives in Watertown with his wife, Holly, and is a native of the area. Wes previously worked in public relations for nearly 20 years before being called to ministry in 2010.

In his free time, he enjoys photography, hiking, reading, and, above all, a good cup of coffee.

JoAnn Barta Funeral Director Assistant

JoAnn joined our staff in February of 2018 as Funeral Director Assistant. She is a 1988 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. JoAnn is a member of Weatherstone Church in New Berlin and serves as a greeter.

She moved to Pewaukee, WI a few years ago to be closer to her son Josh’s family and loves spending time with her three Grandchildren. Her son Jeremy currently lives in Los Angeles, CA where he is involved in the Improve Theatre. In her spare time, she loves kayaking and exploring Wisconsin.
