Kevin Pagenkopf Owner/Licensed Funeral Director

Kevin has been proudly serving Oconomowoc and the Lake Country area as a licensed funeral director since 1999 and is fourth generation owner at Pagenkopf Funeral Home.  The rich heritage of his family’s legacy in providing comfort to those who are mourning continues with Kevin, the great-grandson of Arthur Pagenkopf who, in 1913, established Pagenkopf Funeral Home.  Twenty-five years of experience in funeral care ensures that families who work with Kevin in their time of need receive great service and compassion from a professional that understands how to provide guidance and comfort to grieving families.   Kevin is an Oconomowoc native and strong supporter of the community. 

He is a current board member serving on the Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce as Past President, is the current President of the Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce Foundation and is a board member of Zachariah’s Acres. He is a past board member of OPEF (Oconomowoc Public Education Fund), YMCA at Pabst Farms and the Oconomowoc Lacrosse Club.

Kevin has been happily married to Cindy for 15 years and resides in Oconomowoc with their son, Mason and dog, Arthur.  In his spare time he enjoys playing golf with his family and has a passion for bow-hunting, which his son also shares.  He also enjoys boating, snowmobiling on the local trails, and spending time with family and friends.

Cynthia Pagenkopf Owner/Pre-need Specialist

Cindy oversees the daily operations of the funeral home, and is a licensed pre-funding specialist. A native of Oconomowoc, she cares deeply about the community and currently serves and volunteers at Zachariah's Acres, YMCA of Pabst Farms, James Fuller Memorial Railroad, and ProHealth Care's WomenConnected.

Lisa Dolan Licensed Funeral Director/Pre-Need Consultant

Lisa is a Milwaukee area native and joined our staff in January 2015. She attended mortuary school at Milwaukee Area Technical College and later became a licensed Pre-Need Specialist. She loves working to bring comfort and direction to the people she meets, especially families in their time of sorrow. Before becoming a funeral director, Lisa was in nursing for eleven years specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. In her free time, she enjoys jewelry making and upcycling crafts.

Wes Werner Clergy and Funeral Director Assistant

Wes serves our funeral home as both a pastor and a funeral director assistant. He currently lives in Watertown with his wife, Holly, and is a native of the area. Wes previously worked in public relations for nearly 20 years before being called to ministry in 2010.

In his free time, he enjoys photography, hiking, reading, and, above all, a good cup of coffee.

Dawn Grady Administrative Assistant

Dawn joined our staff in May of 2018 as an administrative assistant.  Dawn’s hometown is Chicago, but she has lived in Wisconsin for over 22 years and in the Lake Country area for more than 15.  Her past professional endeavors have included service in the armed forces, over 15 years in local schools serving students with special needs, work at the local YMCA and administrative positions in the medical and dental fields.  She has always enjoyed interaction with and service to the public with which she has worked. Dawn and her husband, Michael, have lived in Oconomowoc for the past 10 years, and have three children and a pet parakeet named Cirri.  In her spare time, Dawn likes to write, paint, read, camp, drink coffee with friends, travel and spend time with her ever- expanding family which includes a son-in-law, a soon-to-be son-in-law, and her grandchildren.

JoAnn Barta Funeral Director Assistant

JoAnn joined our staff in February of 2018 as Funeral Director Assistant. She is a 1988 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. JoAnn is a member of Weatherstone Church in New Berlin and serves as a greeter.

She moved to Pewaukee, WI a few years ago to be closer to her son Josh’s family and loves spending time with her three Grandchildren. Her son Jeremy currently lives in Los Angeles, CA where he is involved in the Improve Theatre. In her spare time, she loves kayaking and exploring Wisconsi.

Allen is a former pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wales, having retired in 2015. Since then, he has been serving as a funeral director assistant at the funeral home while also spending his retirement traveling and fishing.
